The Oral Imitation of a Sound
The oral imitation of the sound caused by a hollow, saucer-shaped mechanical
device that vibrates and emits a ringing sound when struck, then, that device.
Someone inserted a feline into a deep, cylindrical excavation whose purpose it
is to make available (by pail) the water which would collect at the bottom.
Who would commit such an act of turpitude? Do you have any idea as to his
identity? An inexperienced fellow named John, whom we will verbally chasten
by applying a belittling adjective to his praenomen. Was the situation
remedied? Yes, and the person responsible is a rather portly little fellow
named Thomas, whom we will verbally reward by applying an exalting adjective
to his praenomen. How froward was this act of wanton cruelty executed by the
former of the twain lads! The feline's fate was to expire after
unsuccessfully endeavouring to derive sufficient oxygen for sustenance by
respiring the liquid oxide of hydrogen which constituted the greater portion
of his current environs. And what makes it even more tragic is that the
particular feline was a very profitable beast in that he performed the
valuable service of immolating scores of ratlike scavengers within the large
farm building (owned by one of the boys' dad) used for the accumulation of
various farm products.
