While Stranded at the Top of a Woody Perennial...
"Gently oscillate at its resonant frequency a farewell interjection," the
infant is implored, while stranded at the crown of woody perennial with an
elongate stem. Then we observe that atmospheric currents, undoubtedly caused
by the uneven heating of the earth's crust, are the entities which are
causally related to the gentle oscillation of the infant's pivoted bed. At
the moment when the branch from which said infant's bed is suspended,
fractures and parts from the combined efforts of the gravitational stress and
the momentary but substantial torque applied to the juncture of the main trunk
and secondary shoot, the pivoted bed will, under no other influence than that
of gravity, pursue the path of least resistance in the four-dimensional
spacetime continuum--the potential energy of the suspended mass is transformed
into kinetic energy of motion. To the untrained eye, this would appear to be
no more than a simple uncontrolled loss of altitude, both for the pivoted bed
and for resident infant.
